What do I wear to my Beginners class?

Wear what you feel comfortable in, shorts are best so you can use your legs to grip to the pole but you can get away with pants that can be rolled up to expose the back of the knee. Beginners usually don’t wear heels but if you want to bring them for some extra sexiness, go for it!


I’m not sure I’m ready to start pole dancing?

If you have a body and it turns up to class each week then it’s the perfect body. You don’t need to be fit or strong to start, our Beginner classes are tailored to completely new people and remember every pole dancer started as a beginner. You will build strength up through the levels with our structured syllabus and probably surprise yourself by how strong you will be!


I’ve done pole dancing before, how do I know what level I will be at The Brass Room?

We allow anyone from all studios to take classes with us. If you want to book a levelled class Intermediate or above you will be required to do an assessment with an instructor to make sure you are in the suitable level. Starting at a new studio can feel a little scary so we always suggest to start in a lower level so you feel confident and can take the time to get to know our style, your instructor and fellow Brass Babes.


Am I welcome at The Brass Room?

We are inclusive of all races, genders, sizes, ages, socioeconomic status, disability status, and sexual orientation. We celebrate our diverse community and wholeheartedly commit to providing a safe space for all to pole dance together.


What happens if I can’t make one of my classes?

Mark your attendance as ‘not attending’ 24 hours before your class and you will be given a catch up class. You can use your catch up in another of your levelled class, pole flow, lyrical, splits and backbends or practice time. Your catch up class is only valid till the end of the same term.

 

How do I cancel my membership?

Once you have completed your minimum term of 8 weeks you will be able to cancel your membership using the below steps.

Login to customer dashboard on desktop or phone browser (unfortunately you are unable to complete a cancellation on the app) > Menu > Memberships > My Membership > Cancel Auto Renewal (highlighted in red). If you are still in your minimum term it will state the number of renewals/weeks you have remaining.
